It has been 4 years since we got back from living in London. I do miss it sometimes. The mass of people from every corner of the globe, the speed in which everything moves, the beautiful mix of the old and the new, the great pubs and beer, those crisp blue sky winter days and the fact that there is always something happening. It is a special city to visit but an even better city to spend some years in.
Yes, perhaps time has dulled the memories of cramped tube rides, the dirty air, and the constant drizzle (especially in summer), but I'm happy to remember it as I do. There were days where I felt I was living in the centre of the world, where humanity was really happening...
