Consequence

"Every battle has it's glory, and it's consequence" Ben Harper

Sometimes consequences can sneak up on you, or can be completely underneath your radar. Something you would never have thought of. Yet they are there, even when you are glowing in the glory.

Spending long meetings with management, looking into future planning. Meeting after meeting. Plans are made and relayed to staff. It's great stuff.
Pitty the staff don't ever see you so haven't developed a relationship with you. So no matter how smart your ideas, they won't think so.

Living in a wonderful house. We put in the pool last summer. The games room is coming along. Have you seen these new internet TVs?
Pitty you only get to see the house when the lights have to be on because it takes 70 plus hours a week to pay for all of this.

Kids are at the best school money can buy. They will gain a wonderful education and most likely go on to uni. Oh, and then there is the 'old school' connections. I mean, that should really set them up.
Probably will. Pitty they wont have the opportunity to meet people from a range of social and economic backgrounds and will probably think that everyone's life is just grand. Oh, apart from those lazy people, without a job who live on the street.

Glory and consequence.
