Andrew and I rode Stromlo today. On the way down we enjoyed the Skyline trail. Fast, flowing , fun.
If I look back at sections of that trail, there was nothing else I was thinking about except the next corner, rock, jump. Just the trail.
I think having those moments, where the thousands of things you usually are concerning yourself with simply disappear, are the stuff of a fulfilling life.
It seems to clean the plate of life so you can fill it back up once you get off the mountain.
You end up with a dirty bike,
and a clean soul.
Ricey, cruising to the top.
