Getting clear

Years ago, 3D pictures were pretty popular. You would look at a page that appeared to consist of random patterns, and then after a few minutes, suddenly an image would appear. It would always take me longer than others to ‘see’ the picture (something about my dodgy eyes perhaps). The person showing me the picture would always tell me not to look too hard,be patient and the image would appear.
Of course, once you have ‘seen’ the picture, you cannot not see it. Even if you don’t look at the page for some time, the moment you look back, there it would be, clear.
Working out direction in life can be similar. If you strain too hard to find the answer, it may never come. Often, patience, thought, and allowing time to give you answers can lead to ‘seeing’.
And how often do we ‘find’ something, embrace it and years later wonder how it was we didn’t ‘see’ it before?
