Home
Surfing has taught me much; about patience, friendship, the world, expectations, excitement, about making your own path, rewards for effort, about the joy of doing something beautiful simply for the sake of doing it.
It has also taught me about being in the right spot, trusting your instinct.
To listen. To find your home within the world.
We have been in our new 'home' for a little over a month. Trying to begin to settle, sorting out things and generally seeing whether we can make things work here.
In that time the coast has been hit by swell after swell. There has been only a couple of days where you couldn't go for a surf. There have been several days where the waves have been quite literally, amazing.
We may have found home.
