RN

Ok, maybe it's a sign that I am getting old. It wasn't long ago that Triple J was set in my car radio, no station surfing, just the J's.

Now, they seem to talk too much about rubbish, I only like every 5th song and I get a bit bored.

So now I tune to RN, Radio National and can be guaranteed that in 30 minutes of listening I will learn something, and more often than not, learn about something that I had not even considered before. So I listen in and learn about cattle stations in the Kimberly, women cooperatives in Lebanon, the history of marriage in Australia since white settlement, the detail surrounding the Watergate scandal and the involvement of the mafia.

So I am getting old, but hopefully also wiser.
