70

I was listening on the radio today as an economist explained that it was more than likely that within the next ten years, the vast majority of Australians will need to work until they are 70.

Just think about 70.

Now, I hope that I will be fit enough when I'm 70 to be able to still be active, but I think I would be fooling myself to think I will be able to many of the things I could be doing now.

Just think about now.

Do you put things off until you have more time?
A lot of our time is spent at work. We'll have more time when we are 70.

Do you search for the dollar at the expense of following a passion?
Holding off until 70 to follow a passion seems a long time. And a big waste.

Do you allow your work life to effect your health, your family, your personality?
By the time you're 70, it's going to make a big impact on all these things.

Or, do you scrape a living from your loves. Make a positive impact on the world around you, learn through your passion, grow through experience, care for your family. And wake up each Monday morning happy that this day and week will bring you joy through the work you do.

You do that and you will probably keep going long after 70.
