I rode the trails around Tathra this morning. Decided to ride pretty close to my limit for as long as I could. In one and a half hours I was spent. I also had not had to ride the same trail twice- km after km of trail, and I only covered about half of what is out there.
Got me thinking about the work involved. The hour upon hour of volunteer work to create these trails for all to enjoy. It feels good to ride these trails as an 'outsider'. It must feel fantastic to ride them knowing that they are the result of YOUR work.
There is a trail building session there this Saturday.
I hope I can make it,
and do some work.
