It has been a a few days going now. I take a photo each day and post it here. Many people have done it before. Many people have taken a photo each day for a whole year. I'm not sure I will get that far, but I will continue for a while.
Why? As I was driving to work a few weeks ago it was an exceptionally beautiful morning. The early morning fog was lingering in the valleys whilst above the first rays of sunshine were warming the surrounding hills. I thought "there's a great photo there" and of course, didn't have a camera. It got me thinking, as someone new to the area, that it would be worthwhile to take lots of photos of different areas.
It got me thinking about setting up a little challenge- take a photo each day. I am fortunate in having a wife who is great at photography and has a great SLR camera. I have no idea about aperture or focal length and the like, but why not learn along the way and in doing so, document each day in a particular way. I love looking at a great photo, and even with only a few days of entering this world, I am enjoying the creativity of it all.
Photo of the Day. It will get me out, find new places, learn a whole lot of new things, document life,
and have fun.
