Sometimes, when things don’t look great from the shore, they turn out to be better than expected.

Sometimes, when things do look great from the shore, they turn out to be not as great as you thought.

It’s often better to just go, even if your scared, worried, or think your not in exactly the right place.

The anticipation of perfection can often be even better than the reality.

Things work out far better when you remember to do things for fun.

Being by yourself can be incredibly valuable, but sharing things with friends allows you to truly celebrate.

You never look as good as you think you do.

You never are as good as you think you are.

Oh, and a new ‘whatever’ ain’t necessarily going to change the last two points.

Patience brings its rewards.

You will see a peak down the coast that looks so much better than where you are. When you get there, you will look back towards where you have come from, 

and it will look so much better than where you are.

Often, the best things can get lost in all the ego, merchandising and money that gets drawn to it. And with this, often, it's you to blame.

Don’t take for granted, your health, your time, clean water, freedom. Sometimes you will need to fight for it.

There is incredible importance in doing something that, on the surface, may appear to have absolutely no importance at all.
