B = N + 1

Where B is how many bikes you need and N is how many bikes you currently have.

So, We live a relatively easy bike ride away from the beach, and I saw a great DIY bike rack for a surfboard that I want to try and I could use my single speed but it is rather hilly around here and luging a surfboard up the hill towards home on a single speed seemed like a bad idea...

So, I found this old mountain bike at the tip for $5- it's a Centurian which is a German brand and probably a mid to late 80s model. Seemed perfect for a little 'surf bike' project.

Hopefully I will just need to clean back the rust, get new cables and she will be ready to go (can't spend too much on this after the money I spent on the single speed conversion!).

Then it is on with the DIY surf rack.
