Early morning surf check yesterday revealed a messy looking ocean that wasn't really delivering waves of any merit, so I went for a beach run instead.
Only twenty minutes but it was a twenty minutes well spent. Deserted beach, fresh air, tired legs and that great 'post exercise' feeling.
So for the last 48 hours I have been trying to record (granted only in my head) the worthwhile things you can achieve in less than 20 minutes. He's my list from the last two days;
Run along the beach.
Read a chapter or two of an inspiring book. This is my current inspiration-
Take your little ones for a short mountain bike ride.
Stretch.
Call your mum.
Search online to see whether a business name is trademarked. (I'm hoping that this will be worthwhile some time down the track!)
Wrestle with your kids.
And with great purpose, put your feet up and relax.
48 hours of worthwhile twenty minutes.
Chat on Skype to your best mate.
Clean your bike.
Take your little ones for a short mountain bike ride.
Sit and have a cup of tea and a chat with your beautiful wife.
Do half the undercoat of a revamped old cane chair you got from the tip.
Stretch.
Call your mum.
Search online to see whether a business name is trademarked. (I'm hoping that this will be worthwhile some time down the track!)
Wrestle with your kids.
And with great purpose, put your feet up and relax.
48 hours of worthwhile twenty minutes.
