DIY Surf Rack...almost
The $5 dollar bike is working well after a little bit of sanding back of rust and lubing up some of the moving parts. I may have to buy some new gear cables as the current ones seem to have given up the ghost. Today it was time to see whether the PVC pipe surfboard rack could work. It seems to do the trick. You will notice the robe holding it all together. That's because I bought the wrong hose clamps which are supposed to clamp the t-bar pipe to the frame. Once I get them it should be a matter of lining everything up, clamping on and using some PVC cement to make sure the whole thing holds, then adding either old inner tube, or some foam (if I can find any at the tip) to make sure the boards are kept nice and snug.
Will post the finished ride soon.
