Next year I will be setting up a school garden from scratch. I have big ideas for what the garden will become, for students, teachers, parents and the community. I want it to be a lot of things; a learning environment, a place of beauty, a retreat, a connection between groups and people, a place of fun.
We begin the planning stage. We mark out the site tomorrow and begin the design process. It's exciting to think of the possibilities, to learn new skills, to create.
It's also reading time. Starting with the beginning; Permaculture One.
