New Directions

Cafe Planning

This year looks like bringing about some exciting new challenges and new directions. I am doing some outdoor education work, primarily surfing instructing, my two set days at the local primary school will be setting up and teaching in a school garden, and I am tutoring at University in the Graduate Diploma of Education program. Exciting prospects abound in all of these areas, and several challenges as well. One being the juggling of time between the areas. I've already had to use a calendar more than I have for a very long time!

My hope is to track how things are going, especially with the school garden (there will be a new 'Garden' tag soon.) It's nice to create things from scratch and see where it takes you.

So, I have gone out to begin these with great purpose. What direction does it tell me I wish to be heading in. My thoughts on this (so far);

- I love the outdoors and working in the outdoors.

- I enjoy working with children but equally enjoy working with adults.

- I love teaching.

- I do enjoy working out my times, setting up my little home office, not turning up at the same place each and every day. It's almost like being self employed.

So, less of a single direction and more about heading down several paths in a general direction.

I'm happy with that.
