My wish for you is that you lead a happy fulfilling life, that days bring you laughter and fun.
My wish is that you grow to gain self confidence to allow you to step away from the crowd and follow your own path.
You will face hardships and sorrow, these things are part of the texture of life. My wish is that, when faced with these times, you have the strength and support to move through these times and learn from them.
My wish is that you learn to respect, others and the world around you. That you recognise the positive difference you can make to this world.
My wish is that you find true love and are able to give complete love in return.
And my wish is that, when you are old enough to judge me, you will see that the good and not so good things I have done, the decisions I make, the rules I enforce, the aurguments and the hugs, I have done all of this through my love for you. My wish is that you will feel that I have done my best in my job as a dad.
That's something for me to aim for.
