Right choice

Whenever you make a big call, there will always be a part of you that wonders whether you are doing the right thing.

In deciding to quit work, a big motivator was my desire to spend more time with the kids. Long days at work are one thing, where the days are taxing emotionally, it makes it hard to really be with your kids at days end.

The good thing is that toddlers speak the truth. So on Saturday, when I was working the mic at the School's Carols, Em, J and J came along and the kids loved it. When leaving, Jack got upset.
"I want daddy to come with us!"
"Daddy has to keep working and look after the children."
"Daddy always looks after the children, I want daddy with me!"

We are making the right choice.
