Going Up

We spent a couple of days in the beautiful Grampians National Park and I decided to head out for a ride. More specifically, a ride on the road from Halls Gap which went up for a solid 11 km, flattened out and then went up for a couple more ks. A beautiful switchback road, winding towards the centre of the Grampians.
It has probably been 11 years since I rode a sustained climb that went for that long. Hills like that bring you awesome scenery, some serious cardio strain and sore legs.
It also brings you the downhill on the way back!
Looking forward to getting to the Victorian Alps in a couple of weeks.
