Face the fear

Alright, lets look at how bad things could go;
I can’t get any work, nor can Ems, not even the odd relief work here or there.
We can’t get into the community, we don’t click with anyone, can’t make friends.
The kids struggle, with school, friends, the area.
We can’t find a house we like to rent, or buy.
It rains, like every day.
The surf goes flat for two months.
Someone gets sick, in a town unknown to us, with little support network.
It’s easy to imagine all the good part of ‘what if?’ We do that when we buy a lotto ticket, when we trawl real estate web pages, thinking that if we did that, how good would our lives be? But then we return to what we do and have done, not because the dream isn’t a good one, not because we don’t get excited, but because of all the things that can go wrong, the things we fear. We usually don’t talk about those things, they just linger somewhere and in doing so, take us back to what we do.
So, let’s talk about the fear...
OK- we can deal with all of that!

Time to move into reality.
