Don’t you just love good stuff? Stuff that does it's job well and lasts. Every time I wake up in my 12 year old Mountain Design sleeping bag, warm and cosy I appreciate the quality of the product.
It’s funny how how good something is can creep up on you, as if in this managed redundancy world we kind of expect stuff to fail. “Oh, it lasted 2 years, can’t complain!” Or we buy something on the cheap so if after a few washes it shrinks or fades we think that we only paid a few bucks for it so “can’t complain”.
We bought a set of Tefal camping pots in 2000. They took us through 4 months in Africa, almost 5 months cycling through Europe, countless overnight or weekend trips and our recent couple of months moving across Australia.
They are good quality, they worked from day one.
Still do.
