Potential

Many years ago now, my beautiful wife and I went for a bike ride around western Europe. We were heading to the UK and wanted to have a little adventure on the way. I loved bikes and would commute to work each day, getting many kms under my legs. Em on the other hand, didn’t ride, at all.
We brought bikes and the gear a few months before we were due to fly off. We attempted a trail ride that Em pulled the plug on at the halfway mark with the comment “I’ll train once I start riding.”
And she did. We rode 74 km on the first day of our trip and within a month we were consistently  riding around 100 km each day. Em just kept going and going.
From nothing to over 5500 km.
If you ever want to find your potential, you have to start.
Easy as that.
