Grass is greener

Wanting bigger, better, more. My life is too hard, my work is uninteresting and I don’t earn enough, I need a bigger, better house.

Problem with this attitude is that we try to ‘solve’ this, to find the ‘greener’ life through external means- we buy stuff, we shoot for a promotion simply for the pay rise, we spend too much on the house.

And it leaves us still searching, still thinking the grass is greener.

Problem is, we are looking in all the wrong places, trying to solve the wrong problems.

You see, the grass isn’t greener, it’s just different. 

What makes it greener is the guy who looks after it, who cares, who sees it for what it is and gets the best out of it.
