My boy can ride his bike

After a few months having a great time on his balance bike, and learning the art of 'balance', it was time for Jackson to give the pedal bike a go. He spent about 10 minutes cruising around the garage without the pedals on Saturday afternoon, just to get used to the bike. Then on Sunday, it was down to a nice flat path to give the whole pedalling and steering at the same time thing a go.

I set him up, had him sit on the bike and explained that I would hold onto the seat until he got his balance. Looked back at Em for two seconds, looked around and he was 40 metres down the path, pedalling away like he had been doing it for years.

He loves the fact he can go really quick now he is on a 'big boy' bike.

And I love the fact I can ride along with my son right there next to me.
